As we celebrate the relaunch of Speeder Evolution, we have taken a look back at where Fujikura has come from and where we are going. In 1995, when Speeder was first launched, it paved the way for a revolution in the golf shaft industry. Speeder was the first shaft to use premium advanced materials and initiated a new market in golf shafts.
Since that time, Fujikura, Speeder, and the shaft industry as a whole have experienced a massive boom in popularity as more and more players learn the value of a quality, high performance golf shaft. It is this philosophy that has permeated through Fujikura over the last 18 years and is what sets us apart from every other shaft company.
This difference can be seen in every Fujikura golf shaft because of the legendary Fujikura Fit-On Studio which houses our proprietary ENSO 3-D motion capture fitting system—the first club fitting system that measures information both before and after the ball is hit. With 3-D motion capture, the club and shaft are dynamically measured and recorded throughout the entire swing. These scientific swing analysis variables are then integrated with data from the most advanced ball flight monitors available to produce products that are literally the “world’s best performance golf shafts”. While every other shaft company is developing through trial and error, Fujikura is using science, engineering, and technology to create the best product possible and bring it directly to the consumer.
