Fujikura Leads the Way Again at Hawaii Showdown

MAUI, HAWAII: Tour players continue to put their trust in Fujikura, the leaders in high‑performance golf shaft innovation.

As we open the new season, we’re picking up exactly where we left off in 2025, at the top of the bag counts, and even improving on last year’s numbers. In Hawaii, 39.7% of the field chose our driver shafts (up 3.8% year-over-year), placing us 13.3% ahead of our nearest competitor.

In wood shafts, we were trusted by 39.9% of the field (up 3.2%), a 15.8% lead over the next brand. And in hybrids, 42.1% of players used Fujikura, making it clear as the Tour tees off for another year.

When the world’s best players want power, consistency, and precision, they choose Fujikura.

VENTUS TR Blue First Looks on Tour

Currently we have already seen 3 of the all-new VENTUS TR Blue with VeloCore+ already in play. Two being played on an international tour in Dubai, with the other being put in play this week at Hawaii. Another exciting feat at the start of the season.

When a newly released shaft shows up in play at the first tournaments after launch, it serves as the strongest possible proof that its technology is truly advancing the game.

2025: A Record‑Setting Benchmark

While records are made to be broken, our 2025 season set an extraordinary bar, one where Fujikura and our VENTUS family firmly established themselves as the most trusted and consistent wood shaft brand on Tour.

Why do so many players choose VENTUS? Because it’s engineered with advanced materials and our proprietary VeloCore technology, delivering unmatched stability, speed, tighter dispersion, and the distance elite players need to compete at the highest level.

Week after week, VENTUS was the most‑played driver and wood shaft on Tour. We earned an unprecedented clean sweep at all four Major Championships with the VENTUS Black profile. We also claimed victories at the “Fifth Major” in Ponte Vedra Beach and the season finale in Atlanta. In every arena, VENTUS delivered best‑in‑class precision, power, and control.

By season’s end in Atlanta, we had secured 24 wins across 39 tournaments, a winning rate of more than 61%.

We started strong, capturing four of the first five events, with VENTUS delivering the explosive distance and pinpoint accuracy players relied on when it mattered most.

Nowhere was that pressure greater than at the first Major Championship. On a course demanding absolute fairway precision, the eventual winner, facing heavy scrutiny about whether this would finally be his year, performed with complete command. Only one player averaged longer off the tee, and the champion’s combination of distance and accuracy proved decisive.

VENTUS continued to shine throughout the Majors, with additional victories in North Carolina and Pennsylvania. And when the World No.1 claimed his fourth Major title at Portrush, navigating the punishing Northern Irish links with clinical precision—the Major “clean sweep” for VENTUS Black was complete.

Our Top Five Highlights of 2025

1. The 71st-Hole Drive of the Year

Our champion at the third Major delivered the drive of his life under peak pressure: final round, penultimate hole, tied for the lead, 314 yards. His low-fade tee shot threaded the narrow opening in front of the green, leading to a tap‑in birdie and ultimately, the title.

2. Playoff Glory in Georgia

After a heart-breaking missed putt on the 72nd hole, our champion regrouped, stepped onto the playoff tee, and unleashed a perfect VENTUS-powered drive. He sealed his career-defining Major win with a precise approach and a short birdie putt—his long game proving the difference.

3. Pure Dominance in Charlotte

The World No.1 earned his first Tour win of the year with authority. On the par‑4 14th in round three, he drove the 304-yard green with his VENTUS-equipped 3‑wood, setting up a tap-in eagle. He rode that momentum to a comfortable Major victory the next day.

4. The Major “Clean Sweep”

Arriving at Portrush in peak form, the World No.1 shot the tournament’s low round on Friday—a clinical 64—while splitting fairways with ease. His four-shot victory completed history: VENTUS Black as the driver shaft of all four Major Champions.

5. A Breakthrough at East Lake

One of the Tour’s most popular players captured one of the season’s most celebrated wins at East Lake. Using the VENTUS TR Blue 6‑X, he overcame mounting pressure and secured a three-shot victory. The season finale win propelled him to World No.3 and ensured that VENTUS enters 2026 in the bags of the world’s top three players.
