FUJIKURA WINS #1 DRIVER AND WOOD SHAFT ON DP WORLD AND PGA TOUR

Carlsbad, California (January 22, 2024) Fujikura, the leader in performance golf shafts, was honored to be the #1 driver and wood shaft combination on the PGA Tour and DP World Tour, including a victory for VENTUS Black in Dubai.

At the Hero Dubai Desert Classic on the DP World Tour, Fujikura was the #1 driver and wood shaft during the event, with the majority of the field at Emirates Golf Club trusting in Fujikura shafts during the week. In total, 36.5% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft, with another 42.0% of the field using a Fujikura wood shaft.

These statistics also included the winner in Dubai, who won his fourth Hero Dubai Desert Classic trusting in VENTUS in his driver and wood shafts. The Rolex Series champion at Emirates Golf Club used the VENTUS Black 6-X in his driver and VENTUS Black 8-X in his 3-wood and VENTUS Black 9-X in his . Finishing in second place with a new shaft combination in the bag, the world number two ranked golfer also used VENTUS, using the VENTUS Black 6-X in his driver and VENTUS Black 8-X and VENTUS Black 9-X in his fairway woods.

Over on the PGA Tour, Fujikura was the #1 driver, wood and hybrid shaft at The American Express. Throughout the week in La Quinta, California, 36.3% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft, with another 34.2% in the wood shaft count and 31.7% in the hybrid shaft count.
