Triumph in Texas for VENTUS Black

#1 DRIVER, WOOD AND HYBRID SHAFT AT THE VALERO TEXAS OPEN

Carlsbad, California (April 8, 2024) Fujikura, the leader in performance golf shafts, was honored to be the #1 driver, wood and hybrid shaft on the PGA Tour, including the 8th victory for a Fujikura wood shaft on the PGA Tour this season.

At the Valero Texas Open on the PGA Tour, Fujikura dominated the field as the #1 driver, wood and hybrid shaft. In total, 39.2% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft during the week, with another 37.3% using a Fujikura wood shaft and 37.8% using a Fujikura hybrid shaft.

These statistics included the winner in San Antonio, who grabbed his 2nd PGA Tour victory using all Fujikura driver and wood shafts. The tournament winner used a VENTUS Black 7-X in his driver, VENTUS Black 8-X in his fairway wood and VENTUS Black 10-X in his 5-wood. There were multiple players who also witnessed some success with Fujikura in the bag. Including the second place and third place finishers, 9 out of the Top-10 golfers in Texas used a Fujikura driver and/or wood shaft during the week.

At the Augusta Women’s National Amateur Championship, it was another win for a Fujikura shaft, with the eventual winner in Georgia trusting in the VENTUS TR Red to claim her trophy.

Over on the Korn Ferry Tour, Fujikura also won the #1 driver, wood and hybrid shaft title. In total, 35.9% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft, with another 33.7% in the wood shaft count and 25.6% in the hybrid shaft count.
