Fujikura celebrates season-finale success as VENTUS enters the winner’s circle at Indiana showdown

FRENCH LICK, INDIANA: As the global leader in golf shaft innovation, it has been a year of unprecedented success for Fujikura. From making history with its “Clean Sweep” as the first specialist driver brand to have been in the winner’s bag at all four Major Championships, to racking up countless global victories, the brand’s reputation has continued to soar.

But last weekend, Fujikura proudly celebrated one of its most important wins of 2025 as the most prominent U.S. feeder Tour reached its annual and nail-biting climax, a season-ending Championship in Indiana serving as the last-chance saloon for players looking to claim their spot on Tour in 2026.

Putting faith in VENTUS, Fujikura’s flagship driver and wood shaft, the champion was able to close out a memorable win on the Pete Dye layout using an VENTUS Blue 6-X in his driver, VENTUS Blue 7-X in his 3-wood, and an VENTUS Black 9-X in his 7-wood.

The two-shot victory now affords the winner a pathway to contest among the Tour’s big hitters next year, and is further proof that in the toughest environments, and when the pressure is at its most intense, the world’s best rely on the consistency and power of Fujikura and VENTUS.

With the course’s narrow fairways requiring laser-like accuracy from the tee, the demands placed on players’ long games were greater than ever, with the layout weighing in at a staggering 7,791 yards that included a number of monstrous par fours and a closing par five touching almost 650 yards.

But with composure and class, victory was achieved in style, the winner carding an almost faultless final round of 66, with seven birdies and just one bogey in route to his best round of the week.

Along with the winner, a total of 20 players advanced to the higher ranks of the main Tour following the season’s curtain call in Indiana, with Fujikura also recognized as the dominant shaft brand among the Tour’s elite. Eight of those 20 who graduated trusted Fujikura, including five of the top 10.

From the 73 players who lined up, Fujikura was also the No.1 driver shaft, with 26 players (35.6%) relying on the brand’s innovation and consistency, while 34.5% of the field used Fujikura shafts in their woods.*

Fujikura is proud to be trusted by the professionals, consistently being the choice of champions. This latest triumph adds to the legacy of Fujikura shafts in high-stakes events, further cementing the brand’s reputation as a leader in golf technology.
