Fujikura, the leader in performance golf shafts, unveils AXIOM. The technology that made Fujikura’s VENTUS #1 on worldwide tours is now available in composite iron shafts.

For the past two years, VENTUS has been the #1 metalwood shaft on worldwide professional tours and Fujikura’s best-selling shaft line. The new AXIOM iron shaft line utilises the same VeloCore Technology featured in both VENTUS and VENTUS TR.
Initially only utilised for wood shafts, Fujikura has now expanded enso® research and analytics to encompass iron shafts, showing exactly how technology integration affects performance and the exact layouts and material locations that ensure optimal results.
This enabled Fujikura to develop AXIOM. It offers golfers the benefits of VeloCore, including increased ball speeds and greater consistency, together with the extra precision demanded in iron play.

VeloCore Technology In Iron Shafts
VeloCore Technology is precisely configured to provide golfers extreme consistency, stability, and workability on all shots, giving them the confidence to play their best golf.
Extensive player testing and enso® analytics confirmed that the integration of VeloCore Technology into an iron profile would yield the same performance results players have experienced with VENTUS. These benefits include, increased ball speeds from better and more consistent centre face contact, tightened dispersion (both in terms of distance and accuracy), and amazing control for more consistent shot patterns.
Another key feature of the new AXIOM line is an innovative 3-part parallel shaft length system that further drives performance throughout the set. Long (2iron-4iron), mid (5iron-7iron), and short (8iron-P) parallel shaft configurations help create a consistency of weight through the set which eliminates the need for extensive shaft tipping. Reduced tipping enables the retention of premium material integration in the tip section to maintain consistency and feel.
AXIOM is available in three shaft weights and various flexes to fit a wide range of players and is designed for golfers seeking to maximize their iron performance by hitting it closer to their target more consistently and efficiently. AXIOM will be available at retail from March, 2023 through authorised Fujikura Charter Dealers.

VENTUS – #1 Metalwood Shaft On Tour
Launched in 2019, VENTUS quickly became Fujikura’s best-selling shaft line and was the most played driver and wood shaft for the past two seasons on the PGA Tour and continues to be this season in 2023.
The exceptionally engineered VENTUS is designed to significantly tighten shot dispersion and maximize face contact and ball speed even on off-center shots. VENTUS is a tour-inspired profile and was the first to include Fujikura’s all-new VeloCore Technology in an accelerated taper, ultra-stiff tip profile. Maximum energy transfer from the tip section boosts the clubhead’s performance and a straight taper design enhances loading and feel. VENTUS comes with three launch profiles – Red for mid-high launch, Blue for mid launch and Black for low launch.
In 2022, Fujikura launched the new additions to the line-up, VENTUS TR. The extended VENTUS TR line now features three launch profiles (mid-high, mid, and low) that are designed specifically to stiffen torque in the section of the shaft where golfers need it most, leading to increased stability and consistency.
