Limited Edition shaft will support The Folds of Honor

Vista, Calif.  (June 5, 2017) – Fujikura, the leader in performance golf shafts, is unveiling a limited edition ATMOS Tour Spec U.S. Open shaft in support of the Folds of Honor.

Fujikura has been supporting the Folds of Honor for over three years. Since partnering with The Folds, Fujikura has helped fund four full scholarships with proceeds being presented each year at the PGA Merchandise Show. Fujikura is the exclusive golf shaft manufacturer to support the Folds of Honor.

“I met Major Dan Rooney back in 2012 and he shared his inspirational story that led to the formation of the Folds of Honor Foundation,” said Dave Schnider, President, Fujikura Composites America. “I was really moved to get us involved as the Folds used golf as a way to give back to families of fallen service members.” Schnider added, “We have been committed to supporting the Folds of Honor Foundation ever since and we look forward to increasing our level of support year over year. We at Fujikura Composites America are patriots and are proud to support such a great foundation.”

For the 117th U.S. Open at Erin Hills, Fujikura is offering 117 shafts of the Blue launch profile in each of the 60g and 70g weight categories, for a total of 234. The Blue launch profile is the mid launching profile of the three ATMOS Tour Spec options. Each shaft is laser etched “Limited Edition” and individually numbered. These limited-edition shafts are painted our special “Tour Spec White” and have an all new patriotic graphic with a red and blue metallic flake pattern.

Only 234 total will be made and only available through select charter dealers with an MSRP of $325. Proceeds from sales will benefit a scholarship donated to the Folds of Honor.
