1994 – Fujikura Composites America is Established

Fujikura comes to America to expand the company from Japan to initially offer a direct resource to OEM’s, and making after market shafts in 1999

1998

The Speeder 757 debuts on the PGA Tour

The Speeder 757 paved the way for a revolution in the golf shaft industry. Fujikura soon takes over as the #1 driver, wood, and hybrid shaft for the beginning of a long sustained streak.

2005

Fujikura Rombax Releases and Wins Internationally

Shortly after its release, the Rombax shaft is used on tour in Japan by the winner of the Yamaha Open.

2009

Fujikura Develops the Rack Durability Machine and Motore F1

Development for the Rack Durability Machine began in 2005 and came to fruition in 2009.  This highly automated machine subjects shafts to a preset bending load and then spins them at 28 revolutions a second until they break.

The Motore Speeder introduced a new high inertia tip (H.I.T.) technology, which stores more energy during the downswing and releases the energy just before impact.

2011

Motore Speeder Tour Spec Launches

Motore Speeder Tour Spec quickly adopted by the best players in the world and jumps to #1 on Tour (according to Darrel Survey).

2013

Enso Technology is Developed & Speeder Returns

Enso is the first club fitting and shaft development system that measures information both before and after the ball is hit.  This proprietary testing system enables Fujikura to use science, engineering, and technology to create the best products possible.

2014

Fujikura Stands With The Folds & Speeder Evolution Launches

Fujikura becomes exclusive golf shaft manufacturer to support the Folds of Honor Foundation to support veteran’s families through raising scholarships from proceeds on “patriot edition shafts.”

Carbon and an industry first TRIAX core helped elevate our most premium and high-performance shaft to date with the Speeder Evolution.

2016

Vista Pro is Reintroduced

The Vista Pro line reintroduced a classic Fujikura label and brings pro-grade technology and tour-inspired design aesthetics to a flighted, simplified, and attainable line.

2017

Atmos Tour Spec Launches

20 years of experience working with Tour pros led to the development of this product. A smooth profile, low spin and 3 launch options were an instant hit with Tour Reps and Club Fitters globally.

2019

VENTUS Launches Featuring VeloCore Technology

The exceptionally engineered VENTUS is designed to significantly tighten shot dispersion and maximize ball speed. VENTUS is a Tour-inspired profile and the first to include Fujikura’s all-new VeloCore Technology in an accelerated taper, ultra-stiff tip profile.

2022

VENTUS TR Introduced

Three new profiles were added to the VENTUS line. The introduction of VENTUS TR compliments and enhances one of the most successful and most-trusted shaft line-ups in Fujikura history.  Building on the industry-leading stability platform of VeloCore Technology, VENTUS TR incorporates an ultra-high modus spread tow carbon fabric to stiffen torque in the mid/handle section while providing enhanced stability, consistency, and overall performance.
