VICTORIES ON PGA TOUR AND PGA TOUR CHAMPIONS   

Carlsbad, California. (June 29, 2023) Fujikura, the leader in performance golf shafts, was honored to be the #1 driver and wood shaft across multiple tours, including another major win on the LPGA Tour and further driver shaft victories on the PGA Tour and PGA Tour Champions.  

At the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, Fujikura was once again the #1 driver and wood shaft for the 2nd major championship of the year. In total, 39.1% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft, with another 27.1% of the field using a Fujikura wood shaft.  

The winner at Baltusrol Golf Club also used a Fujikura driver shaft. Claiming her maiden major title, the champion in Springfield, New Jersey used the VENTUS TR Blue 6-S in driver shaft, a 2nd major victory for the VENTUS TR profile.  

Over on the PGA Tour at the Travelers Championship, Fujikura once again claimed the #1 driver, wood and hybrid shaft, including a 15th Fujikura driver shaft victory on the PGA Tour. In total, 33.8% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft during the week, with another 32.9% of the field using a wood shaft and 36.5% using a hybrid shaft.  

The eventual winner in Cromwell, Connecticut was included in these figures, using the VENTUS Black 6-X in his driver on his way to victory on the PGA Tour.  

Finally, over on the PGA Tour Champions it was another victory for a Fujikura driver shaft. Claiming his first victory of the 2022/23 PGA Tour Champions season, the eventual winner and current U.S. Senior Open champion also used the VENTUS Black 6-X in his driver shaft.
