U.S. Junior Amateur Champion Chooses Fujikura

SUCCESS IN SOUTH CAROLINA WITH ANOTHER VICTORY FOR VENTUS

Carlsbad, California. (August 3, 2023) Fujikura, the leader in performance golf shafts, was honored to be the winning driver shaft at the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship.

Taking place at Daniel Island Club’s Ralston Creek course, after a thrilling 36-hole match-play final the Junior Amateur Champion sealed his victory with a 2-up win in Charleston, South Carolina.

Throughout the week, the World Number 52 Junior Amateur golfer used the VENTUS TR Blue 6-X in his driver, completing this major win as the lowest seeded player for over 20-years.

The runner-up in this event also used VENTUS throughout the week, using the VENTUS Black profile in his driver at Daniel Island Club. Both the gold medal and silver medal golfers will be exempt for next month’s U.S. Amateur at Cherry Hills.

The 2023 U.S. Junior Amateur Champion will also receive exemption for next year’s 124th U.S. Open at Pinehurst Resort & Country Club.
